In this review I am going to talk about the Wacom Intuos Pen Tablet CTL-480. What is this product? Well, it’s a graphics tablet that should help your digital drawing be much easier or even more fun and also if you need to sign a document some one has emailed you. What does it make easier?
For me it makes the whole digital input much easier because there were things that I could do with a mouse and struggle with, but this product makes that hard task much more fun and easier to do.
How I use it
I use the tablet connected to my HP stream11 via the Wireless Kit mainly and the cable when the tablet needs charging and I also use the tablet as a mouse with the provided pen (only if i can not find my mouse or using the software I have listed below).
Some Examples
What software do I use with it?
Adobe PhotoshopAdobe
Illustrator
Sketch Up (A 3D Drawing program)
What accessories do I have?
I have one accessory at the moment and that is the Wireless Kit which allows you to ditch the wire until it needs charging and you will be able to re-ditch the wire after 6 hours of charging. It was a surprise to me that it will not charge off any other USB unless it’s your current computer. That is one down side if you have a USB mouse receiver or a Flash drive plugged in at the same time like I do 90% of the time.
The overall verdict
If you’re like me and want to give digital drawing a go, this is the product for you. Do you have a favorite digitizing tablet? Let us know in the comments below.
